In Movement was recorded between July 2010 and December 2011. Most of the recording was done at Asylum in Bow Lane by Jimmy Eadie but some parts were recorded by Pearse McGloughlin at home in Dublin and in a rehearsal room in Rathmines. Bright Star and Going Away were recorded by Enda Roche at ER Recording with additional recording at Bow Lane by Jimmy Eadie.
